Spray tanA certified spray tan technician manually applies a DHA (dihydroxyacetone) tanning solution to your body, using an airbrush tanning system. This is a spa treatment, not a booth. The DHA reacts to the proteins on your skin to create yout tan. It is purely cosmetic and will not protect you from the sun. Your tan is instant, but will get darker for up to 4 hours.

DHA has been approved by the FDA for cosmetic applications. It has been used for over 30 years without any harmful effects.

Your skin type and/or how you take care or your skin after the application determines the length of your tan. As you lose your skin layers you will lose your tan. Losing the layers from your skin is a natural process this comes from showers, tight clothing, rubbing your skin, and dry skin. That is why we recommend you MOISTURIZE, MOISTURIZE, MOISTURIZE!

Ensure that when coming to your appointment, you are competely showered, shaved (women) we recommend shaving the day before a spray, and Exfoliated. The cleaner you skin is the better your tan will look and last! Do not put any moisturizers on before your session due to the fact that this could block the absorption of the spray tanning solution.

We recommend wearing an old swimsuit or undergarments. Dark colors are preferred. You may go topless if over the age of 18. Bottoms are required. Anyone under the age of 16 needs to have an adult present during the application.

The certified spray technician will go over their procedures of application. We will try to make you feel as comfortable as possible. A disposable hair bonnet is used for you hair. The application generally takes 20 minutes start to finish.

After the application you will feel a bit "tacky". Make sure you wear loose clothing. Dark colors are preferred. Do not shower and try not to perspire for at least 4 hours. After waiting the 4 hours you may shower. Pat your skin lightly, try not to rub and then you may moisturize. Your tan should be even and very natural looking. Remember-be gentle to you skin! Take good care of it and your tan will last longer.

There have been no problems breathing in the product. Our rooms are very well ventilated and kept very clean. This product is odorless.
